Charter School Issues

Facilities: Charter schools are public schools that receive federal funds similarly to traditional public schools but they are not qualified to receive funding for facilities and their costs. This would include the building and the costs to operate that building. The disadvantage that charter schools face over regular public schools is that they are unable to raise funds through taxes but must raise those funds using fundraisers or they consider it operating revenues. Bank loans and other loans are usually difficult to come by as they don’t have many assets and since they are new don’t have a bank history to be considered.
